In 2016, just a short year after starting a new walk with the Lord, I found myself salmon fishing in Alaska. I was stationed there as an Airborne Infantry Platoon Sergeant and had several of my men from the Platoon with me in the river. In that moment, the Holy Spirit began to reveal his purpose for my life…. “This is what I have in store for you”. Over the years, He has gradually revealed more and more about what this call looks like.

 

The Vision that God has given to me is to bring Combat Veterans from all over the world to hunt and fish, providing the opportunity for them to experience God through His creation, the Great Outdoors.

 

It has been proven through numerous studies that time spent in the Outdoors does more for the welfare of Combat Veterans than any kind of worldly counseling. It’s about getting them to withdrawal from the things of this world, establishing a new sense of brotherhood, and providing an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to work. Ultimately the goal of our Ministry is to lead our Nation’s Warriors to a relationship with Jesus Christ and an abundant life free from PTSD, addiction, depression, and thoughts of suicide. Through the power of the Holy Spirit real, lasting change CAN happen.
