In 2016, just a short year after being filled with the Holy Spirit and starting a new walk with the Lord, I found myself salmon fishing in Alaska. I was stationed there as an Airborne Infantry Platoon Sergeant and had several of my men from the Platoon with me in the river. In that moment, the Holy Spirit began to reveal his purpose for my life…. “This is what I have in store for you”. Over the years, He has gradually revealed more and more about what this call looks like.

The Vision He gave me was to bring Combat Veterans from all over the world to hunt and fish while providing the opportunity for them to experience God through His creation, the Great Outdoors.

Although it has been proven through numerous studies that time spent in the outdoors does more for the welfare of combat veterans than any kind of worldly counseling, it’s not just about the hunting and fishing. It’s about getting them to withdrawal from the things of this world, establishing a new sense of brotherhood, and providing an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to work. Ultimately the goal of our Ministry is to lead our Nation’s Warriors to a relationship with Jesus Christ and an abundant life free from PTSD, addiction, depression, and thoughts of suicide. Through the power of the Holy Spirit real, lasting change CAN happen.

Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war
and gives my fingers skill for battle.
He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my rescuer.
He is my shield, and I take refuge in Him.
He makes the nations* submit to me. Psalms 144:1-2
